It begins four Sundays before Christmas and invites us to reflect on the profound HOPE, PEACE, JOY, and LOVE that the coming of Christ brings to the world. Each candle lit on the Advent wreath reminds us of these eternal promises, drawing us closer to God’s heart.
For many, Advent is a time to slow down amidst the season’s busyness and focus on the deeper meaning of Christmas. It is a time to remember the humble birth of Jesus in a manger, to renew our faith in God’s promises, and to extend generosity and kindness to others in need.
